This gorgeous quilt is sure to become a much-treasured favourite to decorate your Christmas home for many years to come. The design features Santa bearing gifts, surrounded by Christmas trees, stars and holly berry garlands. The colour scheme is evocatively festive thanks to the Merry Little Christmas fabric collection and its blenders. For this version of the quilt, a putty white Chambray background is the perfect foil for the seasonal reds, greens and blues. A second quilt in this design uses a Plaid print in stone as the background. For this quilt, we had fun using lots of small buttons for berries, plus some larger buttons on Santa’s coat, but the quilt will work just as well with appliquéd circles instead.
